The goal was to visually convey starting anew, and the name of the company was a perfect inspiration for a minimal, strong, and pristine identity.
The “slate” rectangle communicates the aesthetic representation of the idiom “to start with a blank slate” while alluding to building blocks that are synonymous with construction.
