“Uni-Tea brings people together through two universal experiences, tea and music. It promotes unity amongst the human race and aims to educate, entertain and engage their community with positivity and wellness” - Quentin X. Fletcher (Co-Founder).

Seeking to combine 3 distinct vessels used to bring forms of wellness/enjoyment and “life” into people (tea, coffee and music) , the visual solution was to illustrate exactly that - combine tea, and music.

Both tea and music can be described with the word “heat” when discussing their optimal, enjoyable states. Making sure “heat” was a component of combining all 3 pillars of the company’s offering led the creativity. Once “merging” became the direction, carrying that out not only from the components of the brand’s offering but from the name of the brand itself fell into place. Using the “U” of Uni-Tea’ which graphically resembles a cup rounded out an identifiable mark, that was abstracted to show “Art. Music, Indigenous rhythms, Tech, and Culture” - key components of the brand.

The visual identity needed to be versatile to include versions where it could live as a pictorial mark within apps, a full logo for potential “brick and mortar” applications and to spawn a family of icons for merchandise supporting graphics.
